It is as if the line is seamless from there to there. Inside and outside viewed from the sparkling windows of each luxurious room. Joshua Tree Oasis is like a living, breathing entity of life at its purest and most exquisite form.
You know that somewhere beyond there are bobcats and coyote and starlings and tortoises and reptiles and wild yucca and on and on…each finding sustenance from the wealth of the land, the hidden springs thriving…beyond each window where you gather to dine and dance and make love and play music and light a roaring fire and sleep the deepest sleep of your life.

And yes, we could wax poetic about all that JTO is to our guests but realize that they each express it best in their own words. Here is a direct quote taken from our Guest Book. OUR HEADS BEFORE JTO
They decided to celebrate their one-year anniversary a whole world away from everything that even resembled traffic and madness and show-me-the-moneyness. They wanted out of it all into what they had together–arriving jambled and scrambled and desperately seeking to recapture their own Joshua Tree Oasis enchanting love story. It only took moments to reclaim their lost souls—and most of all each other…

Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, was supposed to have said “Un bon croquis vaut mieux qu’un long discours,” or “A good sketch is better than a long speech”. In other words, “a picture is worth a thousand words…” On that note, we culled a few of our guests’ sketches that summarize Joshua Tree Oasis better than any poet or blogger or marketing specialist could ever express. With a few joyful, “AWESOME!” bursts thrown in, we couldn’t have said it better. So here, for your enjoyment are just a few of the works of art drawn by delighted Joshua Tree Oasis residents who have been so moved to show us their feelings in the best ways possible. We hope you too will grab a sketch pad and leave your cares behind and escape to one of the most gorgeous desert vacation retreats on the planet…

You can do it. Grab your besties and pack your bags and do the thing you didn’t think you could do: Escape to the desert. Leave behind the zombies. The walking dead. The vampires and leeches. The goulish goblins, miserable monsters and freaky psychos. All of them. (And that’s not even the Halloween crowd!)
